Vintage Opal and Diamond Art Deco Style Cluster Ring set in 18ct Yellow Gold & Platinum – size approx: K(UK) approx 5.5(US).

A beautiful vintage Opal and Diamond cluster ring, crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold and Platinum, featuring a wonderful design with strong Art Deco influences.

At the centre is a beautiful opal displaying flashes of pink, green and blue, surrounded by a sparkling cluster of Diamonds. The Platinum-set head has an attractive scalloped, floral-inspired outline, giving the ring an elegant geometric character reminiscent of the Art Deco period.

The combination of the warm Yellow Gold, bright Platinum and colourful opal creates a lovely contrast, while the intricate diamond-set surround adds plenty of sparkle.

The design has a distinctly Art Deco feel, although the hallmarks appear to indicate a later date. It is possible that the hallmarks were added at a later date, but this cannot be confirmed, so we have described the ring as Art Deco style rather than definitively dating it to the Art Deco period.

A particularly pretty vintage ring with wonderful period-inspired design and a beautiful play of colour from the opal.

Lovely pre-owned condition, overall quite clean with the setting and stones secure and in good order. Light wear is present, but this is entirely consistent with the age of the ring.
